Moldoworks is an engineering service company specializing in plastic injection mold design. Our team combines over 40 years of collective experience across mold design, manufacturing processes, foreign trade coordination, and programming.
Meet the Team
Our core team consists of four professionals:
Lead Mold Designer & Co-Founder
Started in 2011 on the shop floor, learning CNC, EDM, and fitting. Promoted to mold design in 2012, full-time 3D mold designer since 2013. Experienced in automotive, home appliance, industrial fittings, medical packaging, and consumer electronics molds. Skilled in problem-solving during mold trials and post-trial optimization.
Business Developer & Co-Founder
Involved in international mold projects since 2011, with a background in technical translation, project follow-up, and sales management. Led foreign trade teams for 3 years, serving clients in the US, Germany, Italy, France, India, and UAE.
2D/3D Mold Designer
Started in mold manufacturing in 2016, with two years of hands-on bench work before moving into design. Experienced in structure analysis and detail handling for precision molds.
Programming Specialist
With 20 years of programming and mold processing experience, he supports our clients with high-quality machining drawings and technical insights, especially for non-standard mold components.

•We begin with receiving detailed product drawings and specifications from our clients.
2. DFM Feasibility Analysis (Including Mold Flow Analysis for Complex Molds)
•Conducting Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feasibility analysis to assess manufacturability.
•For complex molds, we perform mold flow analysis to predict potential issues and optimize design.
3. Mold Manufacturing & Processing
•Wire Cutting: Precision cutting of mold components.
•CNC Machining: High-precision machining of mold parts.
•EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining): Fine-tuning intricate details.
•Polishing: Achieving the desired surface finish.
•Assembly: Carefully assembling all components into a complete mold.
4. Inspection

5. Trial Molding
